We decided that we were going to try one of their appetizers, so we decided that we would have the loaded baked potato dip. It was sour cream, four cheeses, scallions and bacon served with twice-baked red bliss potatoes and it was delicious! It is not an appetizer that you see around very often, but just all of the flavors are just amazing!
For our actual lunch we both decided that we would have Flat's because that is what they are known best for. I had the Southwest Flat which is angus beef, tomato chipotle sauce, sweet onion, jalapeno, pepper jack and cheddar cheeses and a sour cream drizzle. And Mom had the Midwest Flat which was tender sliced steak and roasted potatoes with cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, red onion, bacon bits, scallions and a sour cream drizzle. Both flat's were delicious and had great flavors to it. And I don't know how they do it, but somehow the sour cream drizzle just pulls all of the tastes together!!
The Southwest Flat
The Midwest Flat
All-in-all everything was very good but the average price for a lunch is about $9 and there is a different dinner menu that is a little more expensive. This will be something that I will do again!!
